Certification (why we chose it)

After deconstructing several other films with similar genres to our, we felt that we would use an 18 certificate.

We chose an 18 certification as our film will include:

Strong violence, shown by the boy and his father fighting in our trailer and the boy fighting on the street.

Frequent strong language, in our first cut of our trailer we include the f-word which shows this, however we chose to take this out as it would not be appropriate to be shown on normal daytime television, our film will include strong language nevertheless.

Strong portrayals of sexual activity are evident in our trailer as the boy and girl fall into bed.

Discriminatory language and behaviour is another factor which is shown in our trailer as the boys behaviour shows aspects of him misbehaving and this will lead to other violent acts.
